Rabobank’s Acorn department is set to host a workshop during the summit aimed at sharing their practices in supporting smallholder farmers in Africa to transition to agroforestry practices. Agroforestry is a sustainable and resilient land use system that integrates trees, crops, and livestock to create diverse and productive farms. The workshop will address a central challenge faced in promoting agroforestry - how to effectively communicate with tens of thousands of farmers across all of Africa. The discussion will emphasize the importance of involving local communities and leaders in the communication process, as well as tailoring messages to the specific needs and contexts of different regions.
