ROTTERDAM, May 5, 2017- On Saturday the 27th of May 2017, the Association of Students of African Heritage (ASAH) is hosting its annual African Business Day event at Erasmus University, Rotterdam.
Under the “Africa Innovates” theme, this year’s event will be hosted by CNN African Voices presenter, Keturah King. The guest speaker’s line-up includes:
• Facebook Africa Regional Director, Uche Ofodile
• Ghanaian technology entrepreneur and CEO of Interpay, Saqib Nazir
• MD of BIP Africa and winner of the Ghana Telecom Award 2015, Sofiène Marzouki
• Visiter l’Afrique Founder and CEO, Diane Audrey Ngako
• Co-founder of Idea Factory Africa, Kwame A. Opoku.
The African entrepreneurs will not only impart practical advice, but will also share information about their innovative practices. Additionally, representatives of multinational corporations operating within Africa such as the Royal Dutch Shell will host student workshops.

Attendees are estimated at 500 and invited guests include local business leaders, African Embassies representatives and ASAH advisory board members, former Dutch Prime Minister, Jan Peter Balkenende, and Rotterdam Mayor, Ahmed Aboutaleb.
Event tickets are available through Eventbrite and prices range from €5.00 for Students Conference up to €10 for a Regular Conference ticket.
At the end of the official program, attendees will have the opportunity to partake in all things Africa including an art exhibition, food and dance.
